Tom Brady has gone down in history as one of the greatest NFL players ever, and a good part of that is due to his outstanding performance in some of the most impressive matches. Here we will look at six of Brady’s most epic games:
1. The ‘Tuck Rule’ Game:
This match was actually against the Oakland Raiders and it took place on January 19th 2002. It is famous because it is when the infamous ‘tuck rule’ was introduced. Brady had an amazing performance leading the Patriots to a 16-13 victory, with Adam Vinatieri hitting a 45-yard field goal with 27 seconds remaining in snowy conditions.
2. Super Bowl XXXVI:
On February 3rd 2002 Brady led the Patriots to their first Super Bowl win. His performance was outstanding as he completed 16 out of 27 passes for 145 yards and one touchdown. This win put Brady right on track to becoming one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history.
3. Super Bowl XLIX:
Another impressive performance by Brady came on February 1st 2015, when he helped the Patriots defeat the Seattle Seahawks 28-24 in what is known as one of the best Super Bowls ever played. In that match, Brady threw four touchdowns, completing 37 out of 50 passes for 328 yards while being named MVP once again!
4. The Comeback Game:
As its name suggests, this was a game of comebacks as it took place on January 22nd 2017. Brady was facing the Atlanta Falcons in their home stadium, and he led an impressive comeback for the Patriots, who went from being down 28-3 at half time to eventually win 34-28 in overtime.
5. Super Bowl LII:
Brady once again showed why he is one of the best quarterbacks ever by leading the Patriots to a 41-33 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on February 4th 2018. In this match, Brady threw for 505 yards and three touchdowns while completing 28 out of 48 passes!
6. The Miami Miracle:
Kenyan Drake’s 69-yard touchdown run with only 7 seconds left gave the Dolphins a miraculous 34-33 win over the Patriots on December 9th 2018. Even though this wasn’t one of Brady’s best performances, it certainly was an unforgettable match!
