Halestorm is a rock band from Pennsylvania that formed in 1997. The group consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Lzzy Hale, her brother drummer and percussionist Arejay Hale, bassist Josh Smith, and guitarist Joe Hottinger. They have released four studio albums, two EPs, 23 singles, and one live album. Their self-titled debut album was released on April 28, 2009, through Atlantic Records. The band’s second album The Strange Case Of… was released on April 10, 2012. Halestorm received the Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance for the single “Love Bites (So Do I)” at the 2013 ceremony. In 2015, they became only the third female-fronted band to top the Active Rock radio charts, after Evanescence and The Pretty Reckless.
